Beginner Pastel Lessons – Stickland

During these weekly lessons you will learn the basics of using pastel pencils to create art, including how to layer and blend the pastels.

Tara will provide expert step by step tuition to help you create a piece of artwork to be proud of.

This course is great for beginners, as templates are provided, and each step will be explained in detail.

During these we will be creating a variety of different pieces of art including still life, landscapes and animals.

The lesson fees are charged monthly and includes use of materials, but there is an option to buy pastels at a reduced rate, if you wish (no obligation) to allow you to practice your new found skills at home.

Each lesson is approximately 2 hours long (some may finish their drawing sooner than the allocated time, some may take a little longer, and either is fine).
