Full colour pastel single animal portrait including mount and frame.

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable. The estimated completion date is subject to change. Any changes to the estimated completion date will be communicated directly. Final payment is required upon completion of the portrait. If you would like a specific colour frame please let me know in plenty of time. If no colour is specified, I will choose a frame which I think best suits the portrait. Portraits are packaged as securely and well protected as possible, however, if your portrait arrives damaged, please inform me within 24hrs of receiving it. Frames are not covered under any postal insurance and will not be replaced or refunded if damaged. If a portrait is damaged, a claim will be made to the chosen courier service, and once compensation has been received, this will be forwarded to the customer, and not before. A well lit and clear reference photo must be received at least two weeks prior to your allocated start date, unless agreed otherwise. Failure to produce a suitable reference photo within this time scale may result in cancellation of your portrait, but the deposit will be retained. Reference photos can be sent via email to taralee.nix@gmail.com, via WhatsApp to 07795 844244, or via Facebook or Instagram messenger. It is your responsibility to ensure that the reference photo supplied best represents the subject (hair colour, lighting, coat length all accurate to life), as I can only draw what I see in the photo. All portraits are created with a plain grey background, unless stated otherwise. If you would like a different colour background, please tell me upon booking. This may be subject to an additional charge. You will receive a photo of the final portrait once I have completed it. I want you to be 100% satisfied with the end portrait, so if any alterations are needed, I am happy to do them within reason, but these changes/alterations must be in line with the original reference photo. I reserve the rights of all portraits, and may use them for advertising, reproduction, merchandising, or resale. Please credit Tara Nix art when sharing completed artwork. 15. If you need to cancel a portrait, please do so in plenty of time, to allow me to fill the space. Any cancellations will result in the non-refundable deposit being lost. Cancellations within two weeks of your estimated start date will incur an additional charge of £50. 16. By paying a deposit, you are agreeing to all the above terms of booking.
